Humbrook builds AI receptionists, one business at a time

Not an account on somebody else's platform, and not a template with the trade name swapped. Each build is scoped against one business, tested on a real number, and handed to the people who answer that number.

Built for one business, then handed over

Humbrook builds AI receptionists for small businesses. The agent picks up the calls that go unanswered while the owner is with a customer, on a job, or closed for the evening. It asks what the caller needs, checks a live calendar, books the appointment where the business already keeps its bookings, and sends the owner the details in a text. Asked something it was not set up for, it says so and puts the caller through rather than guessing.

A build starts with an email and ends with a working number. What the agent handles, what it refuses, and where a booking is written down are agreed in writing first, because those three answers are the build. The work then happens inside accounts the business opens in its own name: n8n for the workflow, Vapi for the voice, Twilio for the number. Nothing goes live on a customer-facing line until that number has been called and the booking it wrote has been checked in the calendar it wrote to.

The business owns the result. The workflow, the voice assistant and the phone number sit in accounts it opened and keeps, under its own billing, with its own logins from the first day. Humbrook is not a service the system depends on to keep running, and nothing built is rented back. A business that stops working with Humbrook still has a phone agent that answers, and can change it, pause it, or hand it to somebody else.

Humbrook is based in Lahore, Pakistan. Clients are in the United States. The work is remote and asynchronous, and email is the channel: scope, questions, changes and handover all happen in writing, which has the useful side effect that what was agreed stays readable months later. A call can be arranged where one is genuinely faster, and no call is needed to start.

The straightest way in is an email

What the business does, and what happens to its calls now. That is enough for a straight answer on whether this is worth building and what it would involve. The demo number below is live, which makes it the one thing on this page that can be tested rather than taken on trust.

It answers as Humbrook's own line, so it asks what the business does and hands back the demo number built for that trade. Everything underneath is the real thing: the machine listens, takes the detail, and routes the call.

No form, and no call needed to start.
